Last day being 19 spent carefree, watching Hunger Games and sticking nerf darts to my face. That’s me and the bestie. Even if we haven’t hung out in 3 months, it’s still like old times.
In the midst of all this change, it’s good to know that some things will anchor you.
Here I go, embarking on my 3rd decade of life. Any advice?

First World Problems

 • Jenny (lying on the floor): unggfff...my stomach hurts. It's too small. i wish it was bigger to fit all the food i eat.
 • later
 • Jenny: Your seahorse keychain on your bag looked like white chocolate. So i thought you left me a present. So I bent down to touch it to see if I could eat it. But then I realized it wasn't chocolate.
First run of the quarter.

I am so grossly out of shape.

“This is my friend <3 I call her up whenever I’m bored, whenever I get off work, whenever I wanna play.

I’m going to miss her a lot over winter break :3” says Esther.

Memory Loss

Every time I come home, I have all these plans of all the work I’m going to get done. I tell myself no more lying around. When I have nothing to do, I’m going to study.

But then I forget all the plans I made, and I forget all the work I have to do.

I frkn love my home.
I like waking up in my soft, snuggly sheets, in my familiar room, with all the comforts of my childhood around me.
I like the sound of my mom’s hairdryer, and the smell of this turkey, and the firmness of my mattress.
I like the feeling of my carpet under my feet.
I like the fluffiness of my pillows, and the sound of my comforter as I adjust it.
I like the soft light that glows from my curtain-covered windows.
I like being able to burrow into my blanket and sleep more.
I like being woken with a smile from my mom.
All these things and more I am thankful for.
Happy Thanksgiving!
